Vote on Tuesday!
We hope you are safe and warm. As our city slowly mends from last week's storm, Election Day is Tuesday, November 6. Polls open from 6 AM to 8 PM. If you are currently displaced, the state has made it easier to vote (for details, click here).

Needless to say, we proudly stand with Mitt Romney for President and Paul Ryan for Vice President. After four years of decline, it's time for a new course.

We also have some important local contests that will affect your wallet, your kids, and your quality of life.

For school board, we are fortunate to have a true conservative in the race: Liz Markevitch. She knows that our district schools have more than enough money; what they need is reform. Liz trusts parents, and welcomes competition. She therefore views charter schools -- and even vouchers -- as part of the solution, not some kind of existential threat.

Finally, make sure to vote "yes" on local question #2. This proposal would reform our city's draconian rent control laws. For more information on this crucial issue, please visit our friends at

On to victory!
